God Wars Dungeon Video

I’ve been waiting for one of these to come out!

First up, a group of 25 guys killing the Zamarok bosses:

These two awesome videos (both by Coffey522) give a good feel of the new Dungeon. There are a bunch of things that I liked about the dungeon, at least from what is shown in the video.

First, the amount of difficulty just to get to the dungeon is amazing. Not only is there the cold, which drains your hit points, injuring you before you even enter the dungeon, but there are also extremely high leveled wolves outside and/or near the entrance. Also, the entrance is very remote, forcing you to push aside a boulder, which was very cool, and climb down a massive hole in the snow. Very cool.

Second, getting thrown into the battle so early on looks extremely intimidating. You don’t get time to look around and check things out – instead you’re thrown into battles from the offset. No matter what area you enter, you are automatically attacked by hundreds of malicious monsters.

Third, the graphics for the dungeon are very nice. Everything looks frozen and “destroyed”, as if a battle actually had taken place right here. Furthermore, in the main area, there is a mix of monsters from each of the different armies, adding to the chaos of a battle. I’m not sure if the monsters from opposing armies fight each other, for example Saradomin soldiers fight Zamarok soldiers, but if they did that would be very realistic.

Finally, the bosses – at least the Zamarok one – were not impossible to take down. An alter was placed within the boss area where you can recharge prayer, though it has a “waiting” time between recharges. Also, the Zamarok boss looked extremely menacing and dangerous, befitting his “I can crush mountains!” reputation.

That’s about all I can think of. I can’t wait to try it out (I just need the stats to be able to kill the bosses…), but, when I do, the dungeon will probably be a lot emptier, since everyone will have a Godsword by then.
